ADVANCEMENT
Following good performance as a patrol officer, and the successful completion of the requisite selection processes, reserve officers may advance into detective or other specialty positions, such as motorcycle officer, training officer or helicopter pilot, to name a few.
The Reserve Divison also follows the career supervisory rank structure. With sufficient experience and the successful completion of the requisite promotional processes, reserve officers may advance to the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Commander and Assistant Chief.
