Phoenix Police Department - Reserve Division

TRANSITION TO FULL-TIME CAREER OFFICER POSITION

Following the successful completion of the reserve academy and the field officer training program, and the completion of a specified number of hours of service with good performance, a reserve officer is eligible to apply for transition to a full-time career officer position.

A laterally-hired reserve officer is eligible to apply to transition to a full-time career officer position after one year's service as a reserve officer.
